Pots De Creme

Ingredients:

1 package (6 oz) semi-sweet chocolate bits

1 egg

1 teaspoon sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

¾ cup scalded light cream

Whipped cream

Directions:

Put chocolate bits, egg, sugar and vanilla in an electric blender; mix until smooth.  Add scalded cream, beat until smooth and pour into individual cups. Refrigerate and chill thoroughly.  Serve with whipped cream or topping. Serves 4. (I have a thing about uncooked eggs, so I scalded the egg with the milk.  It worked!) My Mom had a note on the original recipe card that ‘this is good for bridge.’
